Volunteer FAQ

Is there Parking Available?

Yes, Rob Fleming Dog Park has parking. It’s important to note the Forestry Department has temporary fenced off a section of the lot for their trees. Fear not, we will NOT be planting any large container trees, only seedling!

What Do I need Bring?

1) Work or garden gloves

2) Digging tools (shovel, trowel, spade) – a limited number of tools will be available

3) Reusable water bottle

4) Dress appropriately for outdoor work (closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, hat, etc.)

What Trees Are We Planting?

A mix of native seedling trees.

Do I Need Tree Planting Experience?

No experience is necessary! We will provide a tree planting demo before we begin.
